SANTA CLARA, California, April 15, 2008 -- Quellan Incorporated, a leader in Analog Signal Processing and RF Noise Cancellation, today announced it was named a finalist for CMP Technology's EE Times fourth Annual Creativity in Electronics (ACE) Awards for Ultimate Products (www.eetimes-ace.com). Industry voters selected Quellan as a Finalist for the Company’s RF Noise Canceller, a revolutionary EMI noise cancellation device that provides significant signal sensitivity improvements for mobile devices.
"Quellan is delighted to be named a finalist for this prestigious award," said D. Tony Stelliga, Chairman and CEO of Quellan. "Our Narrowband Noise Canceller was just unveiled at the end of 2007 and has already been well received by customers, media and analysts."
EE Times Ultimate Products ACE Awards are presented in seven categories and are selected by editors as 40 of the most significant products posted at http://www.eeProductCenter.com during the calendar year. Then, using an electronic balloting process, EE Times submits the products with the accompanying editorial reviews to selected by qualified readers. Those readers score the products by technical significance and usability.
"The ACE Awards have quickly become the industry event as we celebrate the achievements of today's innovators, pay homage to past industry pioneers and envisage the promise of what tomorrow's technologies will hold," said Junko Yoshida, editor in chief of EE Times. "Without question, the ACE Awards are known as the electronics industry highest honor."
The EE Times Annual Creativity in Electronics (ACE) Awards celebrate the creators of technology who demonstrate leadership and innovation in the global industry and shape the world we live in. These creators, and their innovations, will be recognized at the EE Times ACE Awards Gala on April 15, 2008, as part of CMP Technology's Embedded Systems Conference Silicon Valley, the largest electronic systems design event in North America.
