Quellan Recruits Mark Hobaugh as Vice President of Operations

Industry Executive Brings over 3 Decades of Semiconductor Experience

SANTA CLARA, CA - January 10, 2008 -- Quellan® Incorporated, a leader in Radio Frequency Noise Cancellation and Signal Integrity ICs, is pleased to announce semiconductor industry veteran Mark Hobaugh has joined the company as Vice President of Operations. Mark brings to Quellan a strong background in operations and quality.

With over thirty years of industry experience, Mark has held senior management positions at RFMD, Resonext Communications Inc., Sage Inc., and held various engineering and management positions during his twenty-two year tenure at National Semiconductor.

Before joining Quellan, Mark was Director of West Coast Operations for RFMD. Mark was also Vice President of Operations at Resonext Communications Inc., a leader in the wireless LAN market before the company was acquired by RFMD. Prior to Resonext, Mark held the position of Vice President of Operations at Sage Inc., a leading developer of video processors. While at Sage, Mark built an operations organization and ramped production shipments to high volume prior to it being acquired by Genesis Microchip.
