D. TONY STELLIGA
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Tony Stelliga joined Quellan as CEO in April
of 2003. Before joining Quellan, he was appointed to several
strategic positions at Intel Corporation including General Manager,
Optical Processing Division. Tony led much of Intel’s
entry into Broadband Networking following the acquisition of
Softcom Microsystems where he was Founder and CEO. He earned
the President’s Intel Achievement Award in 2002 for these
efforts. At Softcom, Tony developed leading edge Network Processors
for use in Backbone Routers and Enterprise Switches for companies
such as Cisco and Nortel. Intel Corporation acquired Softcom
Microsystems in 1999.
Before starting Softcom, Tony started and
grew the Telecom Products Division at LSI Logic. This effort
lead to the development of the Industry’s first Network
Processor and single chip Enterprise switches for companies
such as Cisco, Nortel, Alcatel and Extreme. Prior to his tenure
at LSI Logic, Tony was a Vice President at Newbridge Networks
responsible for the start up of Newbridge Microsystems, now
a public company named Tundra Semiconductor.
Tony received B. Sc. in Computer Science from
the University of Ottawa where he also commenced his M.B.A Studies.
He currently holds 20 patents in Broadband Networking and processing
architectures and is currently a director at Q-Sound Corporation,
a publicly traded audio technology corporation. Tony has earned
speakerships at hundreds of industry conferences, panels, and
events.
